Last night Jared's co-workers had a going away party for him at Ralf and Kacoo's (a local Cajun restaurant). He was also presented with the Meritorious Service Medal, by Col. Farley. They usually present this while in uniform, but since he is done with work, they had to improvise. Sorry for the poor picture quality, all I had was my cell phone. He was very honored. He is so proud to be in the military and is such a hard worker. I couldn't be more proud! Way to go Jared!

I haven't checked your blog for a few days--you've been busy! Congrats to Jared--that's great! And also to Nate for doing so well in scouts. You sure do have a good-lookin' family! Can't wait to see you guys in a few days.
