Soccer

We were so excited to start playing soccer again!  Since we left Louisiana, it has been a whole year since the boys have played.  They were excited to get started again.  It works out great because they don't schedule games or practices on Weekends, so you can still enjoy your Alaskan activities!

Joshua had a good team, with lots of his friends.  They told us at the beginning that they would stomp every team, because they played at school together all the time and they didn't let us down.  Jared helped coach his team.  He ran practices and another dad did the games.  (Jared couldn't do games because all of Joshua's games fell on Church Young Men Night).

(Thanks for the picture Cherie)

Nathan played on a coed team with two of his friends.  Just like in Louisiana, he has a good friend who is also named Nathan, so we called ours Cardon.  They had a lot of fun together.  He is getting really good, and wants to play Comp ball in the fall....we will see!  This is the first year Jared didn't coach him....well, officially, but he was just the coach on the parent side.  He stilled yelled and coached all the players.  I guess it is in him!

Are you kidding me? No games on Saturday sounds AWESOME! Glad they could get back into soccer. We start up football season here in a few weeks. Have mercy on my soul.
