Jared's Night

Last night Jared's co-workers had a going away party for him at Ralf and Kacoo's (a local Cajun restaurant). He was also presented with the Meritorious Service Medal, by Col. Farley. They usually present this while in uniform, but since he is done with work, they had to improvise. Sorry for the poor picture quality, all I had was my cell phone. He was very honored. He is so proud to be in the military and is such a hard worker. I couldn't be more proud! Way to go Jared!

Last Temple Trip to Dallas

We made our last trip to Dallas this past weekend. Our great friends, Dax and Katie Ulrich, took out their endowments and were sealed in the Dallas LDS Temple. It was such a beautiful day. They are now an eternal family! We are so excited for them. The missionary that taught them, Sister Winters, was able to come out and go with them. It was great seeing her too.

Catch Up....

I gotta get caught up before we move (one week), or it will never happen.

Our friends across the street went on vacation for 10 days, and told us we could use their pool why they were gone....and it got plenty of use. The boys were in heaven and spent hours, sometimes twice a day in the pool. I was right there with them. When it is over 100 degrees outside, swimming is the only "outside" activity you can do. Thanks Fletcher's!

Joshua had his good friend, Tyler over to play. They have so much fun together. This is the crappy part of moving.....saying "good-bye!"

Scouting

Tonight we had a Court of Honor, and Nathan was the Star..... He earned 12 Merit Badges (scout camp and lots of hard work!) and is now a Star Scout. We are so proud of him. He is getting closer to Eagle!

Scout Camp

Nathan and Jared went to Camp Wilkes, a scout camp in Biloxi, Mississippi. Because of our upcoming move, they couldn't go to scout camp with their troop, so they did one by themselves. Nathan was able to meet some interesting "Southern" boys. He had a great time and came home with lots of merit badges.
