Joshua's Contraption

At scouts Joshua made a marble track. He was so proud!

Dance the night away!

Our ward hosted a Family Dance night. It was great fun. Nate and Josh both got in and danced. I of course did not....crutches and dancing don't go together. Jared took the pictures (sorry for the poor quality, I am not sure what he did).

Playing Catch Up!

I found a bunch of pictures on Jared's phone that he has been hiding from me. This post is mainly for me, so I don't forget about all of this when it comes time to make our 2011 book.

One of Jared's patients brought him a fruit bouquet, and I didn't even get a taste. They ate it all at work!

Jared has always wanted a custom license plate, why I don't know, but he got his wish. For those of you who are wondering what DRAHT means.....it is a German hunting dog, fits Jared perfectly!

Two families here in Alaska have always had a contest in the fall. They each choose a date that they think the snow will fall and stay (for at least a week). They included us in the contest this year. The winner gets their favorite pie made, but the losers. I don't remember the date that I chose, but I won! It snowed on my day and stayed. I felt bad being the new comer and stealing the show, but the pie (cherry and chocolate) was awesome!

YUMMY YummY YummY

Our friends here have been great to our family. Lots of meals were brought in after my surgery. We are still eating some of them. Our friend Narda, made a Spanish meal for Jared, including Flan.....all I can say is he was in HEAVEN!!!!!

Surgery

Seven years ago, I had both my hips replaced and my right hip has been giving me problems for over a year now....so it was time to do it again! Lucky me!!!! Everything went well and I am getting stronger everyday!

Stranger in the Neighborhood

This Moose has been wandering the neighborhood for the past few days. It has been visiting multiple yards, and munching on the trees and bushes. Guess this is what happens in Alaska! I have seen it a couple of times, but have not been able to get a decent picture, so I stole this from Cherie's blog. Thanks Cherie!
